Love aint everything

I wake up with a start
a cold hand clutching my heart
as the feeling departs
able to separate reality and dreams apart

I look back at the months past
wondering how long this will last
wondering how we managed so long
still going on strong

love aint everything
love isnt even anything
that can pull you out of dire straits

love wont help you
love cant help you
when you are, with all options through

love can be painful
love can be hurtful
when everything around you just crumples

but love can make you strong
love can right all your wrongs
love can make waking up a pleasure
love can heal just about any disaster

i know this sounds too cheesy
i know my lines are too breezy
love aint that easy
any mistake can make things queasy
