Why do I go on

Give me one reason
why I still go on
After all this strife
After all these fights

After all my struggles
after all these battles
after all these defeats
after all these deceits

broken down so often
broken up in so many ways
misled on paths astray
just ended up being broken

Why do I still go on
everytime I die
I get up and respawn
living once again the lie

Why do I still go on
why do I not give up
this never ending scam
Maybe it's just who I am

How many times must I fall
before you let me stand up
how many times should I die
before you let me live

How many times must I fail
before I get to win
How many times should I lose
is wanting to live a sin?

Hi Manoj,

I never really liked poems. The very first time(some days back) I looked at this post and found it as sort of poem by the arrangement of the sentences, I just started looking at other posts. But today, I again glanced it and stopped at this post and started reading it again and again (Just two time, bit of exaggeration). This poem was good and I guess the reason we still fight to live is because of the love we have on ourselves. (a self-love). Because people who hate life and get bored of it and committing suicides don't really love them. (instead love some one or something that is not in their control). Thanks for this poem.
