Is this destiny
Is this fate
Has it all been written
with an expiry date

Destined to struggle
I can accept
Destined to fail

The fabric of life
held together by hope
disappointments it cant cope

To gain something
we lose something
which is needed more
which is more core

every step we take
closer to the end
of one struggle and strife
marks the start of another

Where will it end
how long do we defend
when there is no relief in sight
how long do we stand and fight

Everything will be fine
will rise up from the decline
That's what we should believe
one more hope to live
