Sometimes life gets so boring that you would want to do something just to while away time or move even an inch from status quo. Being bored and being free is too different things although most people think its the same. Me writing this post is me being bored. It doesnt mean that i am free. I still got a couple of documents to finish, a DoTA game to play, a level to finish in XCOM The bureau and finally get some sleep(2:00 AM).
Soooo, to make a long briefing short, I nowadays end up getting more bored than often. I think its inversely proportional to the shitload of work that is due. So whenever i get too bored, I start thinking out "what if" and invariably it has something to do with getting a perverse pleasure in pulling one over another innocent human being. As they say, When the going gets tough, its time to put the toughs on the going. (or do they say something else?). Some of these have already been tested and they work out pretty damn fine, i would say, if i am not too modest. Wait, i am not modest. These are awesome.
1) Buy pull and push stickers and stick it on the opposite sides of the ATM doors. I mean the push sticker on the pull side of the door and so on. May not be very effective as half the folks dont bother reading the signs.
2) Stick a coin on the top part of the automatic magnetic door and voila you got uninterrupted exit and entry privileges at your office, in case the office is monitoring how many times you go out to pee.
3) Go to a restaurant, mall, theatre or anywhere that serves fountain drinks. If they keep their straws in a publicly accessed spot, bring out your scissors. Knick off about an inch or two at the bottom. Anybody remembers Tantalus???
4) Keep a copy of The Cake Bible in the middle of the workouts and yoga books in the library or bookstore
5) Bought some new stuff wrapped up in bubble wrap that your family loves to pop? replace it with unpoppable bubble wrap(yes it exists) and sit back
